We are so lucky to have so many great fathers in our family. Phil's mom and dad came over this afternoon for dinner to celebrate father's day. Phil's mom just had parathyroid surgery, so we we're excited that she was able to make it. We hope that she will be able to fully recover very soon. Neil is a wonderful example for our boys of what qualities a good father and grandfather should have. I know that Phil is so great beause he was raised by good parents.
Peyton and Noah were so excited to give Phil the Superman Father's Day card that they picked out. When Phil opened the card it played the theme song from Superman. They both love Phil so much and are lucky to have him for a father.
Every Father's Day I can't help but think of my own Dad. He taught me so much and was such a great example in the 47 years that he lived. I miss him so much! I wish that my kids we're able to know him and see what a wonderful person he was. I know that he is watching over us and I look forward to the day that I will be able to see him again!! We love you Dad!!
We also want to wish Grandpa Taylor and Grandpa Larsen a Happy Father's day. Even though they are not in good health like they used to be, they have both lived wonderful lives and are great examples of hard working and caring dad's and grandpa's. We love you!!!

Yep, dad's rock! I've been thrilled with how pleasant dad has become the last several weeks. He's almost like his old self. I miss your dad, too. He was my best buddy.
You guys made me totally cry with your Father's Day posts! What a great idea, I am going to copy you next year! I finally did some serious blogging check it out. I need to get better!
