Fourth of July!!!

I love celebrating 4th of July! It has always been one of my favorite holidays. We had a great day spending time with both of our families. We started the day out by going to the Provo parade with Phil's family. The kids really enjoy the tradition of going with their grandparents and cousins.



This is Peyton and Noah with their cousins Cade, Brinley and Ava.

Noah was making silly faces. He is always trying to make us laugh.

I thought this picture was funny. It looks like they are posing for a wedding picture.

The kids got a great seat right on the road. It was a little scary when some of the police motorcycles would ride by really close to the kids. But they loved being right up in the action. After the parade we went to see Wall-E at the Scera theater with both my and Phil's family. None of the adults really liked the movie but all the kids seemed to love it. After the movie, we went to Phil's parents house to have a picnic.

The kids loved this new toy that Grandma Thompson bought. It looks just like those wheels that Hamsters run on.
They also went swimming. Cade, Matthew, Zach and Peyton had a great time playing together.

A picture of my kids, Elizabeth's kids and Jenny's (Phil's sister) kids. They did a few fireworks before we headed off to the Stadium of Fire.

We were able to go to the coveted Miley Cyrus concert at the Stadium of Fire. Neither of my boys really even no who she is, but it was still fun. Phil wasn't too excited about all of the screaming little girls, but he didn't complain as much as I thought he would. Glenn Beck was the host of the night. The Blue Man Group also performed.


Peyton and Noah had a really long day and were both about to fall asleep right before the fire works started. But as soon as the fireworks started they were excited. It was a great day with the family!!!
