Happy Birthday Peyton!!

Yesterday was Peyton's 5th birthday. We spent the whole day celebrating and had a great day.Phil took the day off work. We went to Sonic for breakfast. Peyton had that planned for a few months. When we got back we decided to let him open his presents so the boys could play with them. He was so excited to get the ESPN Better Batter Baseball. His favorite sport to play is baseball, so when he saw the commercial for it, he decided it was what he wanted for his birthday. It holds the baseballs kind of like tee ball and then reloads another ball after he hits the first ball off. It's really cool. I just hope it doesn't break. He also finally got a baseball mit. Since he is left handed we could only find a mit for him online. I don't get why stores don't realize that there are left handed people in the world.

After lunch we headed to the swimming pool for a couple hours. The boys have so much fun swimming. I can't believe that we only have a few more weeks to swim before Peyton will be heading off to school.

We had a big party with all the cousins and grandparents at Liberty Land. Peyton and EJ's birthdays are only 4 days apart and they both wanted to go to Liberty Land so we decided to have their party together. Peyton was very lucky to get more presents. He got a WebKinz Chihuahua and a big Dinasaur book from his cousins. Grandma Thompson gave him a Pirates of the Carribean Lego set and Grandma Larsen bought him a cute pair of Puma's. Thanks everyone!

I was a little lazy this year and just made cupcakes. The last couple of birthdays I made homeade cakes that took me several hours to decorate.

After dessert everyone went on some rides and we ended the night by playing Miniature Golf. It was a great day. Happy Birthday Petyon!!!

How fun! I didn't realize how many birthdays you all have to celebrate in the summer. Wish Jane was there to enjoy everyone. I still have a broken camera and am waiting to blog till I fix it.

I've never heard of Liberty Land. I must be getting old or something. Not up on the cool new places.
