Happy, Happy Birthday Peyton!!

My little boy turned 6 years old on Friday. He was so excited for his special day.

Peyton and Noah were so happy that Peyton got the Lego Batman game for the Playstation.

This was Peyton's first year having a friend party. I am so glad Phil took the day off. I definitely couldn't have hosted the party on my own, especially since I had to entertain Lily most of the time. Peyton invited 11 of his friends from the neighborhood. Phil did a great job of thinking of games for the boys to play.

The boys playing a donkey race. Unfortunately Peyton tripped and fell during the race.

It took a while to get him up off the ground. I think he was just upset because him and his partner did not win the game.

Still upset about the fall in the relay race."It's my party and I'll cry if I want to." I couldn't help but think of that song when I snapped this picture of Peyton when he finally decided to get up off the ground. These kind of moments will be fun to laugh at in the future.

The boys loved the pinata and were excited to get so much candy. I'm glad that they were all going to get to take it home!!

I got a little lazy this year and decided to make cupcakes instead of the cakes that I usually make for the kids on their birthdays.

Later that night we got together with our extended family to celebrate both Peyton and EJ's birthdays, since they are only 4 days apart. We had fun going to a new swimming pool that we hadn't been to yet.

We then headed over to a park for dinner, presents and cake. Peyton was really excited about the presents he got from his Grandparents and cousins.

We were trying to get the two birthday boys to smile, but instead they decided to make goofy faces.

I finally got a cute picture of them laughing when they weren't expecting it. Such handsome boys!!

Elicia brought some huge yummy cupcakes for everyone. We are happy they both had a good birthday party!

This past week Lily has discovered her tongue and loves to stick it out.

I thought this was a cute picture that I got of all three kids.

Cute pictures--they grow up too fast so remember to enjoy every minute. (I need to take my own advice there:):) Happy B-Day Peyton! We love you!!!
