BYU, California, Soccer, Preschool...

We are very excited that the BYU football season has started. The boys always get dressed up in their BYU apparel on game days and I was able to find a Y onesie and hairbow for Lily. Grandpa Larsen and Great Grandpa Larsen would be so proud! We were so happy that BYU beat Oaklahoma! It was a great game. Now they just need to keep winning every week.

We went on a vacation to California last week. Phil and the boys drove and I took Lily on the airplane. We figured it would be easier on both of us if I took Lily on the airplane instead of taking her in the car for a 12 hour straight drive. We stayed at my Aunt Anette and Uncle Dave's house. On Monday we went to the beach. We had a great time.

Peyton and Noah had a lot of fun playing in the waves.

Noah had to hold someone's hand the whole time, fearing that a wave would take him away.

My cousin Jared buried all of the kids in one big hole. They all thought it was fun. Noah started to get a little claustrophobic so we had to dig him out of the pile of kids.

This is how Lily spent her time at the beach, under an umbrella sitting in a Bumbo seat. It was great to keep her out of the sand. But the sand still found its way into her clothes.

We have a little tradition of riding bikes along the beach when we go to visit my aunt. Everyone getting ready to go. It is always a competition to see which group can go the fastest on these four-wheel bikes.

I rented my own three-wheel bike this year becuase it had the perfect sized basket I was able to keep Lily in her carseat and attatch her to the basket.

The two Grandma's were so excited when they were able to pedal ahead of all us young kids.

While Phil was in the ocean body-surfing a big strong wave took him down and slammed his shoulder on the bottom of the shore. It hurt him pretty bad and he had to wear his arm in a sling for the rest of the trip. I felt pretty bad because he was in quite a bit of pain the rest of the week.
He was able to go to the doctor when we got home and fortunately it is nothing serious. The doctor just thinks he strained some muscles.

On Wednesday we drove down to Disneyland.

Lily really liked the Small World ride. He eyes were glued to all the bright lights and singing characters.

Peyton and Noah standing next to Woody and Jessie.

Noah and Tigger.

On Thursday we went to California Adventure. There were no lines and we got on everything really fast.

This is a picture of all of us on the Tower of Terror. We were able to take both Peyton and Noah on it this year. It freaked Petyon out and Noah loved it! It's funny that the younger brother wasn't scared at all. Devin and Vanessa are the ones on the back row kissing. They thought they were pretty funny.

Peyton is back playing soccer again. He loves it. He scored two goals at his last game and played great!!

Noah started his first year of Preschool. It is great for him to get to go, especially when he sees Peyton going off to school everyday.

Noah and Gracie getting ready to go into their first day of Preschool.

Heading down the stairs. We are so excited for Noah to start this next chapter in his life!
