Today was my first appointment with Dr. Smith to make sure everything is going well with the baby. It was exciting to hear the baby's heartbeat. It definitey made everything seem more real. You don't really know if there is a baby in there or not until you hear the heartbeat. I decided this time to go to a woman doctor. I am really glad I did because she was a lot easier to talk to and seemed to be able to relate to me more. I really decided I liked her when she told me that I can be induced a week early if I want. So hopefully things keep going well. 8 more weeks until we can find out what we're having. I am expecting a boy, but crossing my fingers for a girl.
