Grandpa Taylor's Funeral

Phil's Grandpa Taylor passed away this past week. It was very bittersweet to find out that Grandpa Taylor had died. We were so happy that he was finally able to be reunited with his sweet wife, but sad because of all the great memories we have from the time we were able to share with him. Words can't describe how wonderful Grandpa Taylor was. He was always so happy and had a special gift of making everyone he knew feel important. We feel lucky that our boys were able to get to know him over the past few years. They loved playing and laughing with him. Peyton loved playing a game he calls "Boo" with Grandpa Taylor. We are also very grateful to Phil's mom and dad who have been caring for Grandpa in their home for the past 4 years. They did such a great job of taking care of him. We know that they have been blessed and will continue to blessed for all that they have done for Grandpa!

Phil, with his brother Jeff and sister Ashley at the viewing before the funeral.

Noah being his usual silly self.

Peyton wanted to make sure that he had a front row seat. He really loved his Great-Grandpa Taylor.

It was very cold and snowy at the graveside service. It definitely didn't feel like April weather.

Phil had the opportunity to dedicate his Grandpa's grave and did a great job.

These are some pictures we have of Grandpa Taylor over the past 6 years. We shared a lot of good times with him. We are grateful that we will be able to be together with him again some day. We love you Grandpa!!
