Noah's New Do...

Noah has very thick hair that grows very fast. His hair was at a length that was hard to style, so we had to decide to let it grow out or to cut it. I jokingly asked Phil if we should give Noah a buzz? We have never given the boys a buzz so we weren't too sure about it. But we decided it's summer and Noah was willing to let us cut all his hair off, so we did it. I started out with a longer buzz, but Phil said if we were going to do it we should just buzz it really short. I can't believe that I actually did it! At least I don't have to do his hair for a month!

Last weekend we went to visit the graves of several family members. Peyton was excited to go back and visit Grandpa Ike's grave. It has only been a few months since his passing, but Peyton has so many memories of Grandpa and was happy to take flowers to his grave. We were also able to tell Peyton and Noah about Great-Grandma Larsen and how wonderful she was. As a child I can remember my Grandma putting flowers on the grave of a baby girl that she didn't know, because it was the only one in the cemetery that didn't ever have flowers on it. When I told Peyton this, he wanted to go find the baby's grave so he could put flowers on it since Great-Grandma Larsen wasn't around to do it anymore. After a little searching, we found the grave and Peyton and Noah each put a flower on it. I think we will have to make it a tradition to do this every time we visit Great Grandma and Granpa Larsen's graves.

I didn't get pictures of the other cemeteries we visited. On Friday we went with Phil's parents to visit Grandpa and Grandma Taylor's grave and some of their other family members. On Sunday we went as family to my Dad's grave as well. It was good to visit the cemeteries and think of the good memories we have of those family members who have died.

On Memorial Day we went to Lagoon. It was the perfect weather, and we had a lot of fun going on all the rides. Lily did better than I expected. She slept in her carseat almost the entire day and only woke up to eat. It was fun to go with Elizabeth's family, Devin and Vanessa, and to have my mom and Phil's parents there too. We got Phil's mom and dad to go on all the big rides. The kids had a blast and are already looking forward to going again next year.

Cute buzz Noah, why didn't Peyton do his?

You are a trooper! Lilly is still So little. I used to have this theory about guys who buzzed their hair... it was always true to. Something having to do with dating, so Noah is way to young for that.

I remember the little girl's grave, too. I guess she will never be forgotten!
