Happy Birthday Phil!

On Saturday we celebrated Phil's 32nd Birthday. We went out to lunch and went home to open presents. He was pretty excited to get another Playstation 3 controller. The rest of the day was spent doing yardwork. Birthdays just aren't as exciting when you get older!

We also went to Peyton's last soccer game on Saturday. He has absolutely loved playing soccer this year. He practices all the time and is a pretty good soccer player. We are so proud of him and are excited to see him play more next fall.

I can't believe that Lily is already two weeks old! The past two weeks have been hectic, but great. I took her for her first doctors appointment today and was surprised that she now weighs 7 lbs 10 oz. She has almost gained a pound since she was born! The past couple of days have been a little miserable for Lily. She has already got her first cold and she also has the yucky goober eyes. Hopefully she will feel better soon. I tried to find a couple pictures of Lily with her eyes open. There haven't been many because she sleeps a lot during the day.

Noah is finally liking his sister. He was not excited at all to have her around the first week or so. He wouldn't call Lily by her name, but instead called her "Bus", a name that he called her before she was even born. Within the past few days he has decided that he loves her so much and that she is the cutest baby ever. We aren't sure what has changed Noah's mind about his sister, but we are really happy that he loves her now. Hopefully his jealousy phase is over. Noah was really excited to lay next to Lily to see if he was bigger than her. He seems huge lying next to her!
