A lot has been going on this month.
A couple weeks ago, we took the kids to the mall to see Santa Claus. Peyton was ready this year with a ranked list of five things he wanted Santa to bring him. Noah is excited for Christmas, but was still a little shy when Santa asked him what he wanted for Christmas. Lily was doing fine sitting on Santa's lap until the girl taking the picture decided to tickle her face with a duster. It totally freaked Lily out and she wouldn't stop crying until Phil took her off Santa's lap. Fortunately we were able to get a cute picture. At least Peyton smiled :) I have gotten a picture of the kids with Santa every year since Peyton was born. Hopefully I can keep the tradition going.
We had our ward Christmas party last week. The boys got to see Santa again. Peyton was convinced that this was the real Santa and not just one of his helpers because he had a present bag with him.On Saturday Devin and Vanessa hosted a "Christmas Sweater" party. They did an awesome job! We had great food and played some fun games. It was fun to see the Christmas sweaters everyone picked out to wear to the party. Phil got 1st prize for his turtleneck/vest combination. Phil was a good sport wearing this because it is not something he would normally do. His sweater was actually a women's sweater vest I bought on ebay. He decided to wear his Raiders pajama pants with the sweater because he said that was the only way he could feel somewhat "manly". Good times. Hopefully we will have more fun parties like this in the future.
This month Lily started sitting up on her own. It is so nice because she can now sit and play with toys, instead of just laying on the ground. We are looking forward to Christmas and the rest of the Holiday season!

I'm glad Phil was such a good sport! We are having an Ugly Sweater Party ourselves! I hope they are all as willing to dress up like he was!
