I have finally found some time to post our Christmas pictures! We moved to a new house the week after Christmas, so you could so the holidays were pretty hectic for us. Amid all the busyness, we still had a great Christmas!
The boys were so excited for their new Superman and Batman pajamas, they actually gave each other a huge hug. It was definitely a great moment to catch on camera because they don't hug very often. That just shows you how excited they really were.
Peyton and Noah had to leave cookies and milk for Santa and carrots for the reindeer.
It was great to have Grandma, Grandpa, Scott and Ashley come over to see the kids unwrap their presents. This is Lily opening her very first Christmas present from Grandma and Grandpa.
Lily spent most of the morning sucking on all the wrapping paper and gifts she got.
Noah was really excited about this Batman laptop that he got from Santa, but as soon as I took a picture he did his 'wierd' smile. He loves to smile like this for pictures because he knows it bugs us :)
Peyton was so happy to get this BYU basketball hoop for his bedroom door. He couldn't believe that Santa thought of such a good present. It was not even on the list that he gave Santa.
We decided to draw names for our immediate family and spend only $10 per gift. Noah picked Phil's name and was so excited to pick out a gift all by himself. We were going up and down in the aisles at Target and when he saw this package of Diet Coke he new that is what he wanted to buy for Dad. Since it was only $3 he had $7 left over to buy Dad a t-shirt that said "I love Video Games". Noah knows his Dad really well! Phil got a good laugh when he opened the presents up on Christmas morning.
Phil and the kids picked out a cute scarf for me. Phil also bought me Adobe Photoshop. I am so excited to learn how to do fun things with my pictures!
My mom also came over while we were opening presents. It was great to have both Grandmas and Grandpa over on Christmas morning. My mom also was kind enough to help me take the Christmas tree down right after we opened our presents. We bought a real tree this year, but unfortunately it dried out really fast. By Christmas it was so dry, the whole tree started to sag and some of the ornaments started to fall off. I decided that because of the move and the potential fire hazard we should just take it down. So by 11:00 am Christmas morning we had the tree down and all the decorations put away.
On New Year's Eve we spent the night with my family at a place called "Noah's". We had great food and entertainment. It had several game rooms and even an ice skating rink. Peyton was so excited to learn how to ice skate all by himself. Other than a couple falls, he had a great time.
The boys wanted to see the ball drop so bad that we decided to let them stay up until midnight. Because we were in the middle of moving we didn't have any couches to sit on. Phil was really tired and had a hard time staying awake with the kids, but they had fun staying awake until midnight! We had a great 2009 and are looking forward to the fun we will have in 2010! We are so grateful for our blessings and our wonderful family.

Looks like lots of fun and very happy kids!!! Is that your new house in the last photo?
What's with the store bought cookies for Santa Claus? Where were our family Santa cookies this year?
Yeah, I used to make them all the time. But with 3 kids, it is a little harder to get to.
