February and March

For Valentines Day I bought some tickets to take the family to a Jazz game. The boys had a lot of fun, even though the Jazz ending up losing to the Atlanta Hawks.

Peyton had a 1st grade Dr. Seus perfomance. He did such a good job singing all the songs and playing the part of the magician. I remember being in my first grade performance and how fun it was to have my parents come and watch.

Phil signed us up to have a couple young men from our ward over for dinner. We were supposed to make an authentic dinner from where Phil served his mission, so Phil made a real Mexican dinner, which included jalepeno's. Phil told the young men that in Mexico if you don't eat the jalepenos then they call you a woman. So one of the young men took a big bite out of a jalepeno. He immediately looked like he was going to cry. He kept pulling wierd faces and drinking a lot of water. I felt so bad for him. Later Phil said that he didn't think that the boys would actually eat a jalepeno.

Peyton was excited for the dinner and found a poncho and sombrero from Phil's mission. He also painted on a mustache. When the young men rang the doorbell Peyton opened the door all dressed up and said something in Spanish. It was pretty funny.

Ashley had her 25th birthday this week. We had fun going to Texas Roadhouse for dinner and having cake and presents at our house afterward. Ashley has been dating a guy named Loren. That is who's sitting next to her in the picture.

I figured I better get a picture of Lily's teeth so I don't forget how randomly her teeth have come in so far. Her top middle teeth are finally starting to come in, but you can't see them in this picture. I was a little worried if they were ever going to come in. At ten months old she has 7 teeth.

Lily started crawling a couple weeks ago, and now she is all over the place. I have had to put the gate up and make sure nothing is laying around that she shouldn't get into. I forgot how much babies get into when they start crawling!

I was able to get Lily's hair in two pigtails this week. I am excited to finally get to do some cute hair do's on her!!
