What's been happening..

I can't believe that February is halfway over. I am excited for spring, but know that winter is going to stick around for a few more weeks. We haven't been up to a lot lately. Here is a recap of some of the things that have gone on in the last month.

We had a Super Bowl Party at our house last Sunday with my family and Phil's family. Phil and Peyton were excited to plan the party. Phil requested that we only have junk food, but I decided that we needed some fruits and veggies with all the chips and dips, candy and all the other junk we had. Peyton's favorite NFL team is the Colts, so he was super excited for the big game. He even made a ton of Colts decorations and hung them all around the house for the party. While all the guys watched the game, most of the girls talked and played games. We had so much fun and were happy that everyone could make it. We missed Loralee who stayed home because she wasn't feeling well.

Eli and Noah were really enjoying the cupcakes that Ashley made for the party.

Peyton was sure to wear his Colt's shirt for the Super Bowl. Too bad the Colts couldn't pull out a win. Maybe next year.

The boys always beg us to let them take bubble bath's in our tub. Phil gave in the other night and the boys were having a little too much fun seeing what they could do with all the bubbles.

We decided that Peyton looked like either Santa Claus or Moses.

Noah looked a lot like Toad from the videogame Mario Brothers.

Noah was having the time of his life.

Lily is now 9 months old. She just got her sixth tooth this week! She has four on the bottom and two on the top, but not the two middle top, the ones next to where the middle one's should be. I am really confused, because I always thought that the two front teeth should come in first. I asked the dentist about it and he said the general pattern is for a baby to get the bottom two and then the top two, but it is not unusual for some babies to get them in a different order. He said her top two will probably come in next but if they don't I might have to take her back to the dentist.
Lily is now starting to move around alot, and gets where she wants to, even though she's not crawling yet. She can also be lying on her back and get up into sitting position all by herself. It's almost like she can already do sit-ups. When I put her down for a nap, I will go in to check on her and she will be sitting up, looking around her room. Now she needs to learn how to lay back down so she can go to sleep :)

Our next big project is to get our back yard finished. Phil has started to draw out the plans for the sprinklers, grass and flowerbeds. It will be nice to get it done so we can spend a lot of time outside when it gets warmer. We have a lot of work to do but I'm excited for it to get done. I am so ready for summer!!!
