Thanksgiving 2010

Lately I am discovering that Lily does things that my boys never did at her age. She loves to play with her food and most days it finds itself on the floor or in this case, on her hair. I left Lily to eat her chicken nuggets and honey mustard for only a few moments, when I returned to find that she had smeared all the honey mustard in her hair. I was upset mostly because of the time it takes to do girls hair. Some of the other things that she does that my boys never did: draw on the walls, take her clothes off, slaps and bites when she doesn't get her way. I am definitely discovering the girls have different hormones than boys do.

Luckily she also has a cute and sweet side to her as well, as portrayed in this picture.

This year we had Thanksgiving dinner with Phil's family. As always, Loralee made a wonderful dinner! We had a great time talking and playing games.
Lily, enjoying some of Grandma's yummy pumpkin pie.

Lily and Grandpa Thompson sharing a moment.

The day after Thanksgiving, we hosted a Turkey bowl, that was planned by Devin and Vanessa. We all headed over to the elementary school and played a game of flag football. The team that won, was awarded with this golden football trophy. Since both my boys were on the winning team they get to keep it in their room until next years Turkey Bowl.
It was pretty cold during the game. Lily was all bundled up to watch us play football. Unfortunately the babies didn't last very long, so Grandma had to take them back to the house.
