New Years Eve and New Years Day

Our New Year's Eves are pretty mellow now that we have three kids. We still have a lot of fun. Here is Noah trying to stay awake until midnight. It was tough for him, but he did it! As soon as it turned midnight, Noah ran to the front window and said "Where is the ball?" When we had been telling him about the ball that would drop at midnight, he assumed that it was going to drop out of the sky or something. Funny kid!!

We had some of my family and Phil's family over for food and games. We had a great time playing pictionary and eating an entire cheese ball.

Petyon was really having a hard time staying awake.

A picture of Neil and Phil trying to get some kisses as the clock struck midnight.

On New Year's Day we had a party with my extended family. The theme was Chinese New Year. We enjoyed Chinese food and some fun games. I had to get a picture of my mom and Lily dressed up in their cute oriental attire.

The kids playing a game where the person in the front tried to catch the tail of the line. They had a lot of fun.

About those kisses at midnight, I can't quite tell if Loralee or Noah was more resistant to the idea. Certainly Noah was more surprised by this New Year's 'tradition'.
